Market Overview
Mexico is investing in rail across multiple segments. The Tren Maya, a 1,500-km tourist and regional rail line through the Yucatán Peninsula, is partially operational. The Felipe Ángeles International Airport rail link and expanded commuter rail connections to Mexico City are under development. Mexico City's Metro, one of the world's largest, is undergoing rolling stock renewal after years of underinvestment. The Guadalajara and Monterrey light rail systems are expanding.
