Copenhagen completes cross-city light rail line

The final section of the new 28km line has opened in the Danish capital.

COPENHAGEN’s 28km Capital City Light Rail project has been completed with the opening on August 22 of the 13.9km northeastern section from Rødovre Nord to Lundtofte. The initial 13.1km section from Rødovre Nord southwest to Ishøj opened in October 2025.
