Hitachi Rail Secures First DB InfraGO Call-Off to Digitally Transform Nördlingen–Donauwörth–Augsburg Corridor Hitachi Rail has been awarded the first call-off order from DB InfraGO’s major framework contract to upgrade signalling across Germany’s rail network, marking a significant step forward in the country’s push toward digital rail modernisation. The contract covers the complete replacement of legacy mechanical and relay-based signalling on the Nördlingen – Donauwörth – Augsburg section with state-of-the-art digital systems.
