NEW DELHI (Metro Rail News): Building upon the success of Vande Bharat Trains, a new era of high-speed freight transport is going to begin with Vande Bharat-based freight trains. Indian Railways is gearing up to launch India’s Vande Bharat freight EMU, and as per the sources, ICF Chennai will roll out the first prototype of Vande Bharat Freight train for testing and trials this week. During the testing, RDSO will perform multiple checks, including oscillation testing, emergency braking distance (EBD) evaluation, and full-load performance assessments.
