Vossloh closed the first half of 2026 with a record order backlog, supported by the integration of Sateba and demand for rail infrastructure. Sales increased by 21.9% to €710.1 million.
German rail infrastructure supplier Vossloh received orders worth €828.5 million in the first half of 2026, up from €623.7 million a year earlier. The book-to-bill ratio increased from 1.07 to 1.17.
The order backlog reached a record €1.14 billion at the end of June, representing year-on-year growth of 31.8%. The figures include the first-time consolidation of VTT Europe, formerly Sateba, as well as growth in Vossloh’s existing operations.
The Core Components division recorded the strongest increase, with orders rising by 63.5% to €423.1 million. New contracts included approximately €60 million for high-speed rail lines under construction in China’s Shandong Province and more than €40 million for the first phase of California’s high-speed rail project.
Group sales increased by 21.9% to €710.1 million. EBITDA rose from €74.2 million to €80.9 million, although the EBITDA margin declined from 12.7% to 11.4%.
EBIT fell to €32.4 million from €44.9 million. The result was affected by €9.1 million in purchase price allocation effects related to the Sateba acquisition, as well as higher logistics costs and a weaker project mix in the Customized Modules division.
Vossloh now expects full-year sales of between €1.51 billion and €1.61 billion, with EBITDA of €195 million to €210 million. The adjusted outlook reflects delayed deliveries, lower call-offs under several framework agreements and higher procurement and logistics costs.
